Implemented global governance, service center and learning management and delivery platform

Established a governance structure for the Global arm of a "Top 4" professional services firm, to prioritize investments in learning curricula aligned to key business outcomes. Implemented a global learning management and delivery platform, leveraging best practices for learning administration and multi-jurisdictional continuing education functionality, while defining and implementing common processes for learning needs assessment, design, content development and delivery. Implemented a shared services center for the US arm of the firm, focused on learning deployment, including event management and logistics, material fulfillment, vendor management, reporting, and help desk services.

The challenge

The client desired improved and sustained leadership by developing strong technical, business, and industry capabilities across client-serving teams. This required reinforcing company culture as a robust learning and professional development organization ¾ USA Today recognized the company as “a leadership factory” based on the large number of Alumni identified as the best financial and business leaders in the world. The client also needed to align and integrate their learning curricula to address key regulatory and professional requirements, and support emerging markets.


The solution

Global - Conduent Learning established a governance structure to help the client prioritize investments in learning curricula aligned to key business outcomes. This included defining and implementing common processes for learning needs assessment, design, content development and delivery.

United States - Conduent implemented a global learning management and delivery platform for the client, leveraging best practices for learning administration and multi-jurisdictional continuing education functionality. In addition, we implemented a shared services center focused on learning deployment, including event management and logistics, material fulfillment, vendor management, reporting, and help desk services.


The results

Conduent professionals established relationships with client teams that resulted in cost efficient development and deployment of innovative solutions worldwide. We ensured the process management of global best practice learning administration through shared services. This included access to a Global learning platform, resources, and learning enablement strategies for over 144,000 learners. We built and delivered over 3,000 hours of globally available, strategically aligned, high-quality content and managed and processed over 2.2M learning hours annually in the U.S. shared services center.

From this endeavor, the client was inducted into the “Hall of Fame” by Training Magazine after six years of Top 10 honors and #1 in Business Week’s “Best Places to Launch a Career”.
